제8회 인체통신연구회는 2018년 3월 19일 부터 3월 21일까지 도쿄와 요코하마에서 개최됩니다. 본 연구회는 일본, 한국, 튀니지로 부터의 참가가 있었습니다.
인체통신은 2007년에 개최된CEATEC 2007에서 주목받았습니다. 그로부터 10년이 지난 2017년, 제2회 인체통신 붐이 시작되었습니다. 이 붐을 실현가능한 산업으로서 각사가 연계를 할 수 있도록 2017년 6월에 인체통신 컨소시엄이 설립되었습니다.
제8회 인체통신연구회에서는 인체통신기술이 도입된 캡슐내시경의 국제 표준화 규격에 대한 동향, 인체통신 모듈을 사용한 전원 재생 기술 등에 대하여 협의하였습니다.
